Where It Leads Me
In the future, I will continue to be proactive and ready to learn as I am always looking forward to the next step in life. I will always try to have a positive attitude towards others and demonstrate the practical excellence I have acquired to my everyday life. I hope to be an inspiration to others and that they learn from my experiences - both the good ones and the bad ones.
Having a positive attitude and outlook on life and work is very important to me. By thinking this way, I have taken bad experiences from my past and taken steps to avoid those kinds of situations in the future. I try to think that people are generally good but I am also very cautious in who I trust outside of my friends and family. I also believe that treating others with respect is very important and something that everyone should work on. It's not always easy, but we shouldn’t expect respect from someone else without respecting them too.
What It Means To Me
Throughout both my academic and professional careers, I have learned to always have a positive attitude in all that I do. I know that nothing good will come out of having a poor outlook on things. In doing so, I have been able to turn poor situations into positive learning experiences. This helps guide me and others to find a solution without giving up. I have always been proactive in my learning habits. While I still find it valuable to be taught in a classroom, I think that the internet has played a big part in getting me to where I am today. Having the vast amount of information readily available and on-demand has allowed me to learn whatever I want, when I want. That kind of freedom can't necessarily be had in a classroom setting. During my time at Towson, I have always completed projects by the deadline and according to the requirements. Whether it was a group or individual assignment, I made sure to do the best I could and always came out with a good grade.
What I Have Done
This KSA focuses on always having a positive attitude and ensuring that you demonstrate practical excellence in everything that you do. This includes being proactive and ready to learn at all times. It also demonstrates your ability to complete projects on time and according to the requirements as well as treating others with respect and valuing their opinions and beliefs.
