Where It Leads Me
As I graduate college, I will be looking to find a permanent full-time job. I will be doing this through the use of smartphone or computer - two very powerful pieces of technology. As I move forward in my professional career, I will always be looking to learn about new technology and various programs that can help me succeed in my line of work. I never want to be "behind the times" so I will always ask questions and research something if I don’t know how to do it.
My father was always into the latest and greatest technology and I believe he is what inspired my aspiration for it. I read articles everyday on new technology and how it can be used to make our life easier and the world a better place. Communication is now much easier between the human race and the things that we can accomplish together because of advancements in technology is absolutely outstanding. I hope that we can continue to become more technologically advanced and that I can have an active hand in it.
What It Means To Me
Growing up I have always been interested in technology and the things we can achieve through it. I have taken several technology courses throughout the course of my academic career and have passed the Computer Proficiency Milestone that Towson University requires in order to graduate. In my interactive marketing class, we had to do a digital media campaign of the Audubon Society. We had to create and run several social media channels as well as create a website. As a final project, we had to compile the data from our campign into a presentation Another one of my classes, Applied Project Management, had us complete the POM+ Project which demonstrates my knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel. I have added links to both of these projects to the right.
What I Have Done
This KSA focuses on technology and the ability to apply it in a professional setting. This includes using general and discipline specific software for state-of-the-practice business applications.
